Sanctioned Agility Trial July 3-4, 2010 Shatford Park New Lebanon, NY (2 fully enclosed rings outside on grass) Our judges will be Tami McClung and Maureen Sullivan
Download the premium in Adobe format July 1: I just found out this afternoon that I have one less person helping with setup tomorrow, which leaves... only one person helping with setup! I do pay well for this, as I know it's manual labor <g>, and lunch will be provided. Anyone that's available (and feel free forward to anyone you know that might be interested), even if you're not entered in the USDAA trial this weekend, please email me. I plan on starting to set up at Shatford Park at 11:30 Friday morning. Everyone who comes to help will receive a $15 AgileDogs coupon for each hour worked!
Thanks!
Trisha
The
Trial Committee of AgileDogs Agility Training recognize
exhibitors concerns about the new ruling allowing for 24" weave
pole bases. After much discussion this morning, it was decided
that in all fairness to competitors and the short time between
this ruling's
effective date (today, July 1st, and the ruling was put up on
the USDAA website on June 30th) and
the actual
USDAA AgileDogs Event, that we will be using the "old" style
weave poles for this event. We
are
currently using
21-1/2"
bases.
For future USDAA Events, AgileDogs will be using the 24" weave
poles.
We thank you for your understanding.
Debbie Wlodarski
Trial Committee Chairperson
Catalog NOTE: There are holes in the worker schedule both days; please see a chief ring steward any time you can help - thanks! Saturday worker's Schedule Sunday worker's Schedule June 28, 2010 Hello,
Exhibitors! Some important notes:
CORRECTIONS AND CHANGES:
PLEASE double check your entry information below carefully!
Corrections and changes must be sent to
kritters@bcn.net by noon, Wednesday June 30, 2010.
Corrections made after June 30th will be subject to a $5
change fee, no matter whose mistake it is.
1. It is absolutely required that you pick up after your dog. Failure to do so will result in being excused from the trial.
3. There is a creek and hiking trail in the area behind the park (entrance is in the back left corner past the little league field). 4. Remember that ticks abound in this area, so be sure to check your dogs for ticks, especially if you walk them in the woods. 5. Cars must be parked in designated areas, and may not be driven around the rings after the general briefing each day. Trial Format: Two 100’ x 100’ rings will be used. Conflicts are inevitable, but we will make sure you never miss a run, so don't panic! Every conflict will be accommodated as long as you tell the gate stewards that you have a conflict. Electronic timing will be used in both rings. Check-in, Measuring, and Starting Times: Friday: Check-in will be from 5-6 pm. We will have measuring if one of the judges arrives by then. Saturday:
Check-in and measuring will be from 7:00 – 7:45 am General / Judges’ briefing 7:45. Sunday: Check-in and measuring will be from 7:15 – 7: 30 am General / Judges’ briefing 7:30.
Only a few copies of the run catalog will be available at the trial. The catalog will be available for download and printing on Wednesday night before the trial on www.agiledogs.net Volunteers: The volunteer schedule will be posted on the AgileDogs website on Wednesday night before the trial. Thanks to all who volunteered! Please do not worry about conflicts between classes you’re working and classes you’re running in. All workers will be accommodated. You can move your dog within a class to make sure you have time to concentrate on having a successful run with your 4-footed partner! If you didn't sign up to work and are interested in helping, we'd love to add you to our volunteer list! Please contact Trisha Stall, trisha@agiledogs.net. Also, if you're interested in helping out either with setup on Friday afternoon or takedown on Sunday afternoon, we'll be giving each person that helps us a special thank-you gift. Contact Trisha if you can help out in this capacity.
